BEFLEX decoration solutions on "the way of money"
The Money Museum's unique building and exhibitions are exceptional not only in Hungary, but also in Europe.
In addition to the traditional, static museum displays, the exhibit is based on interactivity and individual experimentation, offering a completely new approach to money's history, function, cultural and economic significance.
In 2020, with a similar vision and philosophy, we worked on the Ceramics Space at the Museum of Ethnography, which was also an important event design project for us.
The permanent exhibition, entitled The Path of Money, aims to present the five main functions of money, following this concept the whole exhibition is divided by these five categories.
The visit starts from a Gold Mine, where with the help of an interactive digital knowledge center, guests can learn about the economic, cultural or sacral uses of gold. Starting from this symbolic location a golden thread guides the visitor throughout the exhibition.
Communicative, interactive and exciting interior design: decoration, printing, installations
The graphic designs of the exhibition were created by Graphasel Design Studio, with whom we have been creating exciting solutions over the years.
For the museum, it was a challenge to balance the analogue graphic possibilities with the many digital displays. Solutions based more on traditional technologies and decorative tasks rather than on screens.
We have worked in extreme locations, with precise workmanship, large areas and special digital printing solutions to accompany the money's journey through the museum.
Culture and knowledge sharing are also important, so we were excited to work with the Magyar Nemzeti Bank. The Money Museum is a prominent member of the international museum world for a reason, thanks to its innovative and interactive solutions. We are delighted to have been able to contribute to unique and lasting exhibition spaces.
