Our print team plays a significant role in all the areas we are involved with, providing valuable input to a variety of projects related to interior design, in-store solutions and signage. In this blog post, we will briefly discuss the concept of printing, how it works, the materials that are compatible with our machines and how they are used.
What is digital printing?
Digital printing is a printing method that transfers digital files directly onto materials. It's a technology-driven process in which graphics are sent directly from the computer to the digital printer and then ink is applied to the chosen substrate along the file.
Unlike traditional printing methods such as offset printing, digital printing offers greater flexibility, shorter turnaround times and cost-effective solutions. It allows you to print high quality, accurate colour tones and makes it easier to configure your prints.
Digital printing is widely used for a variety of applications, including marketing materials, signage, decorations and so.

UV printing
UV printing is a form of digital printing. It is a technique that uses a special UV ink that dries instantly, allowing the ink to be printed on a wide range of materials.
The print head applies the ink to the material, followed by a stream of light from a UV lamp acting as a catalyst, drying (and curing) the ink, which dries instantly ready for use. This reaction triggers a process called polymerisation.
The UV ink curing process was originally designed for the rapid drying of gel nail polish used in women's manicures. Which soon turned out to be very useful in printing.
The UV-curing ink contains small polymers and monomers. These are very light molecules that fuse together into polymers when exposed to UV light. The ink solidifies and dries so quickly that the wet ink dots have no chance to spread and expand. This ensures pin sharp detail/higher resolution.
What are the benefits of UV printing?
It's not just the stunning resolution that makes UV printing worth choosing. There are many other benefits that make this technology an even better choice.
- Time-saving: thanks to the instant drying made possible by UV light, UV printing provides a faster process with greater efficiency. No need to wait hours for the ink to dry.
- Durable and resilient: UV-curing inks create a durable surface that is more resistant to scratches and abrasion, while the substrate retains its flexibility.
- Fade and weather resistant: UV prints are less likely to fade or deteriorate than prints made with other technologies when exposed to sunlight or harsh weather conditions.
- Photo quality: UV printing provides high resolution and fine detail.
- Enhanced colour vibrancy: UV inks produce noticeably sharper and more vibrant colours than other printing methods.
- Versatile printing options: UV printing technology allows printing on both flexible roll materials and rigid substrates.
- Environmentally friendly: UV printers use inks that contain no volatile organic compounds (VOCs), making them more environmentally friendly than other printing methods.

Beyond CMYK
Digital inks typically consist of four primary colours, which are short for CMYK, or cyan, magenta, yellow and black (key colours). In addition to saturated CMYK colours, light versions are also used, which play a significant role in maximising the quality of colour transitions.

Our digital UV printers offer versatility by printing on a wide range of materials, expanding your printing options.
Printing materials
- Paper: Our printers are compatible with a variety of paper types, including glossy, matte, textured or specialty papers, and cardboard. This makes them ideal for producing high-quality posters, canvases, decorations, displays and other promotional or communication materials.
- Self-adhesive film: we are excellent at printing on self-adhesive film, which is widely used for outdoor signs, banners, vehicle wraps, stickers and much more. The durable nature of the film ensures long-lasting and vibrant prints that can withstand the elements while being replaceable.
- Fabric: Our technology supports printing on different types of fabrics such as cotton, polyester and blends. This opens up possibilities for creating textile-based promotional products.
- PVC building mesh: we can also print on mesh materials that transmit wind, light and sound, making them an excellent choice for large outdoor advertising, construction sites and festivals.
- Plastics: our digital printers can print on a variety of plastic materials, including PVC, acrylic (Plexiglas), polycarbonate and polypropylene. These materials are commonly used for printing signs, displays, and various POS materials.
- Metal: We have a printer that can print on metal plates. These panels are versatile, lightweight yet strong, and easy to clean and recycle.
- Plywood: with our UV printers we can bring your designs to life on plywood, creating unique signage, displays and special interior solutions. This gives your promotional or decorative materials a unique, conscious and responsible character.
Our team specialises in high volume & large format printing!
We're proud to be a trusted partner of prestigious organisations such as FINA, where we've been providing a wide range of printed materials for the World Swimming Championships for many years.
We work with international retail giants, supplying them with thousands of posters every week to ensure their communications are displayed in their stores nationwide.
When we say large-format printing, we mean the production of printed materials in larger quantities or sizes, or sometimes both. These materials are essential for high-impact advertising, marketing campaigns and events that require larger scale displays or extensive print coverage. Equipped with 5 metre wide printers, we have the capacity to meet all your printing needs.
Our printing services include:
Indoor and outdoor printing
Although indoor and outdoor printing are technologically the same, the main difference lies in the durability of the materials used. Indoor materials are not exposed to environmental influences such as sunlight, especially UV rays, rain and wind. Secondly, indoor solutions are mostly temporary. Our team has considerable experience and knowledge of materials, which can save you a lot of time and money.
Custom printed films and stickers
Shops, offices, hotels, restaurants and other establishments can benefit from eye-catching custom window decals and films. Foils and decals serve a variety of purposes, including attracting customers, promoting products, conveying messages and decorative functions. They are cost-effective, retain their quality for many years and can be easily replaced when needed.

Banners
We widely use banners for advertising and promotional purposes, both indoors and outdoors, as they are durable and versatile. The size and design of the banners are freely customizable. To facilitate installation, we offer various mounting solutions:
- keder,
- pole pocket,
- and grommet.
Banners are widely used at events, exhibitions, shops and in various promotional campaigns. High quality printing is extremely important as advertising banners attract a great deal of attention. Therefore, it is essential that the designs are printed flawlessly and remain in pristine condition so that no damage is done to the brand, or event.
